The winner takes it all

Sorry for my lack of photos this summer, but I have been busy at work. My new job at Sparta (the largest athletic club in Copenhagen) is very exiting. We just had a great school olympics over 3 days for 6.000 students from 4th to the 6th grade. The lady in the middle is the mayor of Copenhagen, Ritt Bjerregaard - and the very handsome gentleman with the shooter finger is none other than our Crownprince Frederik.
The school who over all did the best was Sct. Annæ Gymnasium - congratulations!

Oh pure delight!

This is a piece of "kiksekage" a Danish bisquit/chocolate cake made with love at Mormors - a very unique café in Bredgade. Read more about the place at Spotted by Locals.

Knight of the road

Saw this guy sitting in front of the Central Station looking over at Tivoli. He has the tail of a fox on his hat. I bet he could tell lots of stories...

Fire and boats

My husband took this shot last night when he was riding home across Langebro.
And why are all these people out on a summer night, you might ask? And what about the boats? Well, last night we celebrated Sankt Hans. Read the long story here.

Cake stands

I went by Designer Zoo to take some photos for my piece for Spotted by Locals. And look, look, look - a show about cake stands (I think they are called). Kage is cake in Danish, but you may have guessed.
At Designer Zoo you can buy very cool art and crafts, but in a little week you can read about it on Spotted by Locals.

More cake, anyone?
